During the run-up to the 2015 Federal election, Canadian Diabetes Association saw a communication opportunity to engage, inform, and ignite conversations about diabetes in Canada. CDA commissioned Storymasters to create three 30-second animated spots to spark dialogue about sugar sweetened beverages, a national pharmacare program, and the Federal Disability Tax Credit. Budget was modest and turnaround was tight, but based on the success of our last series of spots, we accepted the challenge!
Storymasters developed a look/feel, copy edited CDA’s key messages, and animated the spots in four working days. As media started to pick up the story, the videos were posted by CDA to their Facebook page. The three video spots received over 10,000 views in the first week.
